Yes it has been a while since i wrote some news in my blog, So what new with VMware. First, VMware Fusion and Wokstation have some new version with yosemite support, ESXi 6... and cloud connected ready. Second, don't forget to book your seat on VMware web site for VMware PEX 2015 conference. www.vmware.com VMware VMUG advantage, now you can get some one year evaluation product of VMware like VMware Vsphere, Horizon... That is a great news for everyone who want to build is own lab for a cheap price 300$ per year of licences plus reduction to VMware VMworld and discount on certification, plus access to vmworld content... really great. Last week Microsoft have made so new annoncement about is new OS Windows 10. They have also annonced a new version of Office suite, Office 2016.  In windows 10 we get a new start menu, a mix of windows 7 and windows 8 tiles inside a start menu, it is efficient and works well. it is also adaptativ to the context if you have an hydrid pc-tablet, it will adapt. Microsoft have also annonces a free for windows 7, 8 , or 8.1 user for one year, it is always good to not pay, but we don't know what happen after one year. Microsoft will deliver their new OS as Windows as a service, but we don't know if it will be something like office 365 or like other older windows after one year. What's new, Spartan, a new internet broswer, Cortona is now intergrated inside the OS, and few other news. Last surprised was Hololens , first glasses computer stand alone. Microsoft have also delivered a new build of his windows 10 products this week, so enjoy it.

So What did we get? This week at VMworld 2014, VMware announced new software,  a little re-branding . So what were these announcements: ! 1. vCloud Suite 5.8 The VMware vCloud Suite was updated to a new version of 5.8 (from 5.5). New Horizon Desktop as a Service (DaaS) Innovations The third announcement included innovations to VMware’s Horizon DaaS. first download ISO from microsoft website Burn the DVD then boot on DVD, first screen, choose your language and keyboard: Clic on "Install Now" Accept the licence : choose  "Custom : Install Windows only (advanced)" select an empty drive and format, then click next. installation begin, wait : computer restart: "Use express settings" : "create new account"  or use your hotmail account (not recommanded ) . click on "I can't do this right now" choose  "Set this up as a new PC instead" then Next  : click next: installation is done welcome to Windows 10 !

VSAN Installation Workflow:   First Check the HCL to be sure your hardware is compatible with VSAN solution.   Second be sure that your configuration is similar to this:   Don’t forget VSAN need at least 3 esxi server 5.5 and vcenter . it is recommended to have 10 Gb NIC also. my favorite actual contest will finish in one week. Yes, one more week to go before the gran contest of cloudcredibility will finish i m in good position first at general and first at nsx world. So in few weeks i may get a 3D printer. Microsoft has annonced Windows 10 for desktop and server also. So what do you think about this new OS, most of us will be happy with the introduction of a new start menu but i think this is more than that. What i execpt from Microsoft is an cloud enable OS and that what Microsoft is trying to deliver with this version a new step to the cloud. We can see that one note app and one drive is already there for client part, now i will expect to get my own onedrive server inside the server edition and even a onenote server to share and collaborate around onenote. What i have seen in server side is a great improvement for SDN solutions and support, Storage replication and a new better RDP that support open GL and open CL. Microsoft will offer also a new identity management feature. This last point is very important when you try to interconnect your private cloud to the external.
